WORKSHOPS + PRIVATE LESSONS
Since 2015, Lucia Boffo has been leading vocal improvisation workshops and classes in Argentina, Uruguay, and Germany. Her teaching has been supported by several scholarships awarded across various provinces in Argentina and Uruguay.
From 2015 to 2019, she taught in the Bachelor of Jazz Singing program at the School of Popular Music in Avellaneda (EMPA). In 2019, she received a National Fund for the Arts scholarship in recognition of her work as an educator.
Today, Lucia directs two women’s choirs, Wind Voices and CHOR ALLE Frauenchor, and leads Scat Workshop, her own educational program.
Private sessions can take place in-person or online, and our focus will be on nurturing a healthy, distinctive singing voice. These sessions are tailored to individuals and can encompass fundamental, intermediate, or advanced levels, depending on the person’s experience. In addition to voice training, participants can also gain knowledge in music theory, repertoire, improvisation, and composition.

In this workshop, we will immerse ourselves in conversations about composition and songwriting through dialogue and active listening. We will explore various compositional techniques and analyze works and songs, always approaching them with respect and curiosity.

Vocal Jazz Improvisation | Small Group | All Levels Welcome
Do you love jazz singing and want to explore vocal improvisation — but don’t know where to start? This is your space.
With over 10 years teaching this workshop in Berlin and Buenos Aires, I’ve seen it grow into something really special: a place where singers show up curious and leave with a new relationship to their voice and to music.
How we work
We learn by doing. Through collective improvisation exercises, listening to key jazz references, and exploring basic music theory in context — always in service of the music, never as an obstacle. No prior theory knowledge required. If you can sing, you’re ready.

✔️ A safe, welcoming space — for singers at any level who want to explore without pressure
